Direct|Rail is a compact, all-in-one electronic vegetation management system designed for hi-rail deployment. Installed on your existing rig, it operates on a battery-hybrid power source for all-day operation — no generator or swapping batteries.

The Direct|Rail system applies tailored pulses of electricity through a 16-foot electrode array. Energy concentrates at the plant tissue — disrupting cellular function and killing the target in seconds with nothing left behind .

How It Works01
Mount & Configure
The compact Direct|Rail unit installs on your existing hi-rail vehicle. Undercarriage and outrigger applicator systems are mounted, the pulse module with battery-hybrid power system connects to an upgraded, high-output alternator on the truck. In-cab controls control applicator deployment and stowage as well as energy delivery.

Drive And Energize
The hi-rail operates at up to 5 mph along the treatment corridor. The 16-foot electrode array deploys continuously, covering the full ballast zone with each pass.

Energy Targets the Plant
Pulsed electrical energy concentrates in plant tissue on contact breaking down the cellular structure in seconds. No delays, just dead plants.

There And Gone
The area is ready for normal operations as soon as the treatment is complete.
