Jason's academic foundation was established at Purdue University, where he successfully completed the electrical engineering program, while
Jason's career began with a focus on high-voltage technology in the medical field, serving as the Lead Service Engineer for TriMedix in Indianapolis. In this role, he led a team of approximately 20 engineers, ensuring the continuous operation of critical medical imaging equipment, including MRI,
x-ray, and CT scanners. In 2012, Jason, in collaboration with Jeffrey McComb, co-founded Imaging Specialists—a regional medical imaging equipment service and sales business based in Richland, WA. The company was dedicated to supporting underserved hospitals and clinics in the inland northwest, showcasing Jason's commitment to advancing healthcare technology accessibility.

The peer-reviewed publication, “Directed energy system technology for the control of soilborne fungal pathogens and plant-parasitic nematodes,” is available for view online at: Pest Management Science. It details the results of trials performed with researchers at the USDA Agricultural Research Science Center in Corvallis, Oregon.

As principal mechanical designer and fabricator, Jeff has taken Jason's vision for DE Technology and made it a reality with every electronics prototype and treatment apparatus the team has built. When he's not utilizing his mechanical expertise, he is pouring over the excruciating minutia of the company's numerous patent specifications, writing about every inventive step that the technology takes, building an impressive book of IP. Jeff brings a unique skill set to the team as a former logistics coordinator for professional sportscar and Indycar teams over a 13 year career in the industry. Those years in the fast-paced, high-pressure world of international motorsports taught Jeff to keep the big picture in focus while operating effectively amid the intricacies of his project management role. As COO, he shoulders the same responsibly of turning ideas into plans and plans into outcomes.
After graduating from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, Jeff pursued his passion for automobile racing working for several professional teams. His career culminated in a successful nine year stint as Team Coordinator for two high-profile CART and Indycar teams: Precision Preparation in California and Adrian Fernandez Racing in Indianapolis. After leaving racing, Jeff relied on his design aptitude and attention to detail in his role as insurance restoration estimator, writing nearly $30 million worth of accepted estimates before launching Imaging Specialists with business partner Jason Crisp.
Ekaterini Riga, PhD
Co-Founder, Science & Research Advisor
Dr. Riga has over 20 years of experience conducting and directing global scientific research programs related to the control and eradication of plant parasitic nematodes, associated plant pathogens and insects. Using applied research originating at the laboratory level and ending at the field level, she specializes in solving problems at the crop production level with emphasis on the development of sustainable pesticides for controlling economically important plant parasitic nematodes, plant pathogens and insects in vegetable crops, tree fruits and small berry fruit crops; as well as evaluating the impact of sustainable pesticides on non-target invertebrates.
With over 50 peer-reviewed publications, 150+ conference, seminar and workshop presentations, numerous University and Extension articles, proceedings, and web pages, Dr. Riga has earned an international reputation as an experienced and valued lecturer, technical trainer, and knowledgeable peer mentor and evaluator in her field of expertise.

Conan boasts a rich background spanning two decades in commercial and residential construction development and management. Over the past ten years, he has owned and operated a construction development and management company. Previously, he has managed construction crews of up to 45 on award winning 200 million dollar data centers. Conan is deeply committed to sustainability and green building, centering around creating a greener planet by the reduction of chemicals in our lived environment. Notably, he played a pivotal role in designing and constructing his primary residence in central Oregon, which earned certifications as both a net-zero energy structure and a platinum-rated project by Earth Advantage.
Bringing his extensive experience as a project manager to the Lisi team, Conan excels in creative problem-solving and networking across diverse industries, ranging from university research and technology to global food security. From eliminating the use of construction material chemicals in our buildings to eliminating the chemicals in our soils, Conan is a natural advocate for Lisi's social impact initiatives and their pursuit of innovation for a more sustainable future.
Conan, holds a BS degree in Health Sciences from Portland State University and has certifications in LEED building. He seamlessly integrates his commitment to green building, sustainability, and renewable energy into his role at Lisi.
